What can I say about the most epic wedding weekend? Kira and Miles wanted a party and they knew how to throw one. It was unlike any other wedding I had shot before and I think a unique experience for everyone attending. But amidst all of the fun, their love story still stood out. For Kira and Miles, meeting was fate. Sometimes the smallest choices can lead to the greatest endings.

DEMPSEY + JONATHON

“Today is the best day because I get to marry my best friend.”

The best part about elopements is that they allow you to be intentional with your day. You can choose where to be, and when to be there. Dempsey and Jonathon’s intimate elopement in Rockport was the best day because I got to witness two people unite their love on a cliff overlooking their favorite town with their parents both present and Zooming in from Tasmania. Elopements aren’t always planned a year or more in advance and when I woke up that morning, I didn’t even know I was going to be filming that day. I’m so thankful I was able to quickly pack up my gear and drive out for the best day of the summer.

I think we all lost about 10 pounds of sweat during this weekend but Laura and Jeff’s wedding truly kicked off summer in the best way possible. As they danced into the night under the tent, I looked back on their story of how they got here. When two people are destined to be together, there is nothing that will stop that from happening. Laura and Jeff took a few twists and turns but ultimately, they ended up exactly where they were meant to be together.

CLAIRE + ZANE

“I promise to never forget how I felt the first time I saw you. How nervous I was because I knew you were the one.”

Who doesn’t love a good lake day? Claire and Zane kicked off their wedding weekend with a fun boat day with their closest friends and family. Having grown up near Lake Winnipesaukee, I was thrilled to join them and capture their puppy Toula lounging in the sun. Coupled with the Preserves beautiful landscape, it was the perfect backdrop for a weekend filled with adventure, dancing, and love.

JESS + MIKE

“Surprisingly it’s not a roast…it’s a little bit of a roast.”

I first met Jess and Mike at a wedding in Vermont in 2019. Fastforward to planning their own wedding and they find me again, although none of us remembered we had already met. Even though there were a few tears during the day, I don’t think either of them stopped smiling or laughing the whole time. Although rain threatened to put a damper on the ceremony, we had a wonderfully sunny window of weather where Jess could lightly roast Mike.
